Documentation:

  • Every stage is logged, verified, and jointly signed — built to meet college credit-approval standards

Credit Alignment:

  • As per NEP 2020 / UGC Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCFUP) and institutional policy

Stage 1: Volunteer Orientation

What it involves:

  • Grounding in the fundamentals of ethical, respectful volunteering

  • Recognising and avoiding hidden harms — even well-intentioned engagement can do damage without preparation

  • Understanding conduct expectations as a representative of both institution and Thrivez

Why it matters: This isn't a formality — it's where students learn that volunteering done well requires humility, preparation, and accountability from day one.

Stage 2: Connection to Reputed NGOs

What it involves:

  • Placement exclusively with vetted, reputed NGO partners with a credible track record

  • Matching based on the student's interests, academic background, and the NGO's actual operational needs

  • Direct exposure to how mission-driven organisations plan, execute, and measure community impact

Why it matters: A meaningful placement is a two-way match, not a generic task list — this is what makes the experience count for both the student and the community.

Stage 3: Attendance Records

What it involves:

  • Formal logging of every engagement — dates, hours, and nature of work

  • Joint maintenance of records by the NGO and Thrivez

  • A verifiable, auditable trail available to colleges and credit-approval committees

Why it matters: Colleges need more than a self-reported estimate — this gives them a documented, dual-verified time commitment they can act on.

Stage 4: Impact Reports — Jointly Signed

What it involves:

  • A formal Impact Report generated at the close of each engagement

  • Details of what the student contributed and what outcomes resulted

  • Dual sign-off by both the NGO and Thrivez for verified credibility

Why it matters: This report is built to withstand scrutiny from any college administration or credit-approval committee — evidence, not anecdote.

Stage 5: Certification

What it involves:

  • A formal Thrivez certificate of completion

  • Backed by the attendance record and jointly-signed impact report

  • A credential that stands on its own in a resume or portfolio, and holds up if verified

Why it matters: Theory and good intentions aren't enough — this ensures every student walks away with proof, not just an experience.

NEP 2020 & Credit Alignment

What it involves:

  • NEP 2020 opened the door for structured volunteering and experiential work to count toward academic credit

  • The UGC's National Credit Framework (NCrF) and CCFUP allow institutions to creditize verified real-world experience

  • The Ministry of Education's Vidyanjali Higher Education Volunteer Programme set a working precedent: one credit for every 45 hours of volunteering, capped at three credits across a student's programme

  • Thrivez does not award credit directly — no third-party platform can — but it builds the exact documentation trail an institution's credit-approval process requires

Why it matters: This is the difference between “I volunteered” and “here is verified evidence a college can act on.”
